but Janet Nash is in need of a Thesaurus! “Powerless Consent” is bereft of descriptive words throughout most of this quickly moving thriller. It was nice to not have a bunch of gratuitous sex, foul language and violence splattered about this book, but it read like an early YA novel. There are no complex sentences, no scenes painted with words that you will remember, and I already cannot recall the names of the characters and I just finished the book 15 minutes ago! Still, it’s not horrible and if you’re looking for a simple, recreational read that won’t require lots of focus, this would fill the need quite handily. There’s nothing offensive in this read, but neither is there anything noteworthy.Product details

Powerless Consent edition by Janet Nash Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Talk about ripped from the headlines, Ms. Nash has given us an exciting work of fiction that mirrors todays most worrisome news articles. Powerless Consent is a well written page turner that will make you think twice before switching on your cell phone.
I really liked this couldn't put it down. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Great book hope she has another one.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Captures your attention right away and you don't want to put it down. Very enjoyable!
This was a book I could not put down. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat and also a new author for me. Rick Powell the cell phone genius was taking on the world but only in the wrong way and his obsession with Kate will it end.
This book jumped so fast that it lost believability. It had so many mistakes-very poor editing. The idea was good but poorly developed.
Interesting storyline, but drove me crazy to read "thump thump" and "tap tap" in parentheses all the time. What is the point? Guess thump thump was supposed to be character's heart beat. Weird. Needs better editing. Misspelled words such as church bizarre instead of bazaar.
Kate thought the idea of being on a luxury yacht and visiting an old friend, would be memorable. Instead she finds, that from a cell phone she had won, he had been invading her life. Taking no for an answer, he set in motion, lies would her husband believe them. Would Tom be brought into this, trying to save Kate and their marriage. Different plot, that catches you off guard, and how winning a simple thing, change a life. Thrilling to the end.
